Petz 4 Hotkeys
Hotkeys I made for P4!

Petz 4 Hotkeys.zip
I know there's already a couple hotkeys for P4 but it's always bothered me how much time they take to run after you press the hotkey (you can see the menus as they go), and I have tiny hands so hitting the windows key + m or g kinda hurts and ends up taking me more effort than just moving the mouse...

SO I've finally made my own hotkeys which I've decided to share. These are only for P4 but if there's a lot of demand for P3 or P5 hotkeys I might get around to making versions for those. I have two never-before-seen hotkeys PLUS the "old" ones (don't worry I coded them myself, nothing is "borrowed") and they run SUPER FAST, SO FAST you will have a hard time seeing the menus pop up at all. ♥

PLEASE read the README inlcuded in the .zip (and maybe just stick that in your P4 folder) so you will remember how these work and which hotkey does what. These are the hotkeys currently included:

These work pretty much the same as the other hotkeys, just run the .exe before you open Petz, then you just hold down alt and press the corresponding letter of the action you want to do.

Breedfiles

All breedfiles here are unibreeds, meaning they will work in Petz 3, 4, & 5. To install them: download the .zip file, extract the files, put any .dog files in the Resource/Dogz folder, and put any .cat files in the Resource/Catz folder.

These breeds are not created by me, but they're either not for download anywhere or just really hard to find. If you are the original hexer of a breed that is hosted here and you would like it removed, please contact me.

Original Aussie
From the Phuket site, which is long gone.

Aussie.zip
This is what I call the 'original Aussie.' It's technically called the Phuket Aussie. It looks very similar to the Sunshine Aussie, but dogs from this file won't be breedable with dogs from the Sunshine Aussie file. I find that most people use this file yet call it the Sunshine Aussie when it really isn't.

Chocolate Cream Aussie Overwrite
From an unknown hexer a long time ago.

ChocolateCream.zip
This is what I call the 'chocolate cream Aussie.' It will overwrite the original Aussie file above, so you can only have one file in your game at a time to breed with! All of your Aussies that use this Phuket file will work with either file in the game. There are 3 more eyecolors not pictured. Please only use this file for breeding, not hexing.

Oreo Aussie Overwrite
From an unknown hexer a long time ago.

Oreo.zip
This is what I call the 'Oreo Aussie.' It will overwrite the original and chocolate cream Aussie files above, so you can only have one file in your game at a time to breed with! All of your Aussies that use this Phuket file will work with any of the three Aussie files in the game. I like to switch the files in and out for litters so that there's more variety. Please only use this file for breeding, not hexing.

Border Collie Overwrite
From an unknown hexer a long time ago, edited by me.

BorderCollieOW.zip
This was hexed a long, long time ago, and I don't know who originally hexed it. It overwrites the Dalmatian, so make sure you make a backup of your Dalmatian file in case you accidentally overwrite it. I've touched up the file a tiny bit: the tongue is now one color instead of two, the eyes are a more pleasing bright green, and the tail tapers instead of being long, fuzzy, and the same size throughout the length. Please only use this file for breeding, not for hexing.

Hurricane Australian Shepherd
From the Hurricane site, which is long gone.

HurricaneAussie.zip
This is the popular Hurricane Aussie file. It doesn't seem to be up for download anywhere else and everyone is always asking where to get it, so I'm putting it here.

Unibreed Petz 5 Dogs
Converted from the Petz 5 game.

Unibreed P5 Fixed Dogs.zip
This is a package of the 5 "new" dog breeds released in Petz 5. It contains the amazing fixed German Shepherd breedfile from Amenity/Rosestone and the lovely "Plume Tail" Papillon file from Black Mist. I've fixed a couple things that bothered me in all of the breedfiles. Mainly, all of the breeds have had their bodyarea/groups slightly altered so that there shouldn't be any strange patches that are different colors, everything has a texture, and they should just breed normally and mutate naturally like the P4 breeds we all know and love. The Pug now has a NOSE and a textured face and ears! The tongue is connected now too, so it looks way less creepy.

I didn't have time to extensively test/breed any of these so there MAY still be some issues, but I promise you these breed SO much better than the originals. I've gotten some pretty adorable 2nd gen mixies! <3 However, if you just want the unibreed versions of the P5 dogs WITHOUT any other changes, you can download the Unibreed P5 Original Dogs.zip.

PLEASE NOTE: These files overwrite the P5 breeds, but for P3/4 they will show up as new breeds in the Adoption Center! Please keep this in mind if you plan to adopt out pups from these files. If the adopter isn't a P5 user, they will need the breedfile!

One last thing! CatCreature @ Wild Abyss of Angels used my fixed Jack Russell file to fix an issue I didn't even catch, where there's some tiny balls clustered around the muzzle and sometimes they're pretty ugly, so if that's something that bothers you, go check out her site and you can download the 'smooth muzzle' version! <3

Alley Cat Overwrite
Fixed version of the Catz II, 3, 4, & 5 original breed.

Fixed Alley Cat.zip
This is just the same Alley Cat we all know and love... without the constant sickness, fleas, and sudden unexplainable weight loss. They're still not happy, but at least they're healthy. ♥ Please note that this will only fix any future Alleys that you breed, not any current cats you already have.

Russian Blue Overwrite
Fixed version of the Catz II, 3, 4, & 5 original breed.

Fixed Eyes Russian Blue.zip
Have you ever noticed that 1st generation Russian Blues from the Adoption Center seem to have larger eyes? It's because they do! When Petz 3 was released and we could all breed our pets, a small "bug" made it through. All bred Russian Blues (with RB personalities) have smaller eyes as adults than they do as kittens, and their adult eyes are much smaller than 1st gen RBs. This has always bothered me, mostly because those tiny little pupils aren't exactly nice to look at. I've fixed the file so that ALL Russian Blues will have the correct eye size, no matter what age they are. Please note that this will only fix any future RBs that you breed, not any current cats you already have.

Unibreed Petz 5 Cats
Converted directly from the Petz 5 game.

Unibreed P5 Fixed Cats.zip
This is a package of the 5 "new" cat breeds released in Petz 5. The .zip file includes all the textures you will need, just put the .bmp files in the Resource/Catz folder with the breedfiles. In P5, these breeds will overwrite the original breeds but will show up separately in P3/4.

I've fixed a couple things that bothered me (and probably other people) about these breedfiles. First, all the textures are now transparent, so you can see the base coat colors mutate! On the Egyptian Mau, I textured its chest ruff and tailtip which were previously untextured and fixed an eye size issue which caused bred cats to have smaller pupils & irises than 1st gen cats. The Japanese Bobtail had some VERY round untextured spots, so I gave them a texture and a tiny bit of fuzz. I also textured the black on the Desert Lynx's ears and tail, though I did that after the photo shoot for the preview image. Included in the preview image is one 1st gen cat from each breedfile and 5 kittens bred with these files so you can get an idea of how mutated base coats look with these textures.

If you just want the unibreed versions of the P5 cats WITHOUT any other changes, you can download the Unibreed P5 Original Cats.zip.

PLEASE NOTE: These files overwrite the P5 breeds, but for P3/4 they will show up as new breeds in the Adoption Center! The transparent textures have been changed to external so the textures included in the .zip are necessary for ALL Petz versions. Please keep this in mind if you plan to adopt out kitties from these files. You will need to send the texture as well as the .pet file to any adopters, and if the adopter isn't a P5 user, they will need the breedfile as well. While you can switch your breedfiles in and out (e.g. swap in the original version instead of fixed), you should always leave the textures in the Resource/Catz folder.

PetzA Profile Icons

Here are some icons you can use to customise your PetzA Profiles! Just put them in the Profile Icons folder, usually located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Sherlock Software\PetzA, but will be wherever you installed PetzA to. Right-click and save the individual ones you like, or if you want all/most of them, download the .zip!

Springtime
A lovely spring/flower theme! There's a blank one in case you want to make your own or use it for whatever. (I use it for the Default Profile.)
